[11-22-19] CISO Series Video Chat: Hacking the Email Pitch

Please join us on November 22nd, 2019 at 10 AM Pacific for the next installment of the CISO Series Video Chats, “Hacking the Email Pitch: An hour of critical thinking about security vendor’s very first outreach to a prospect.”

REGISTER

Joining me, will be Olivia Rose, CISO, Mailchimp and John Prokap, CISO, HarperCollins.

Hashtag for the event is #HackingVideoChat.

Anyone else can join and be a part of the discussion. We want you to be a part of some serious out of the box thinking (and fun) on this subject.

Start thinking about the following:

What is a vendor trying to convey with an email pitch? Are the incentives for getting a response generating the right behavior? What types of emails work well? Is the email pitch something that should be forgone altogether since so many CISOs flat out say they delete all their email pitches? If so, what should replace it?

As always, we want lots of ideas, even the bad ones. We applaud bad ideas because they often lead to great ideas.

The CISO Series Video Chats are an open discussion where all viewers and listeners are welcome to become participants. Before the scheduled event, connect your webcam and microphone and test your equipment here. During the discussion, if you have a question or comment, let it be known in the chat room and our producer will do his best to get as many of you into the conversation. We look forward to you joining us.
