Too Much of Our Critical Data Is Flowing Through APIs

APIs are not new and the issue of securing them is not new. What is new is our increased reliance on APIs and the volume of our public facing data that’s running through APIs. In this video, I talk with Karl Mattson, CISO, Noname Security about how we’ve become more reliant on API security because more applications are being developed, even citizen developers, that are making use of APIs.

This is all a tease for a discusssion we’re going to have on Friday, October 28th, 2022 for Super Cyber Friday.

Our topic of discussion will be “Hacking APIs: An hour of critical thinking on protecting the conduits of corporate data.”

Register for 10-28-22 event.

Also joining us for this discussion will be JJ Agha, CISO, Compass.
